Biography of Founder Dr. David Kenneth Waldman
Through all his activities, David has been motivated by a deep concern for girls and women in the developing world who lack access to human rights, gender equality, gender justice, the environment, sustainable development for women, social justice, health, clean water, sustainable educational development education, and peace for children. David has traveled to 44 countries in his quest for understanding the social and economic issues pertaining to children. David is always looking for ways to work directly with children that will use his experience and commitment.
David has devoted himself exclusively to work for sustainable educational development of the girl child in the developing world in order to break the cycle of poverty. David understands the importance and urgency to assist all girl children with economic, social and culturally appropriate educational programs that prepare girls for an improved quality of life. His work is based on the principles of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. David hopes to assist the world’s girl children to develop opportunities in order to express her voice. This, David assumes, will call more direct attention to the girl child’s cycle of despair and poverty.
