G.I.R.L.    Girl International Resource Learning Educational Program

   To Love Children is dedicated to the promotion of sustainable educational development for girl children in the Global South. We are committed to assist girls to achieve their highest potential by providing equal access to educational resource centers and supporting mentoring programs, including curricular and skills relevant to the increasing educational, resource and health of the child. We promote high standards of excellence in education with a commitment to the principals of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

To Love Children works through local community, national and international sustainable educational development relevant programs in order to advocate for girl education.  Through our educational workshops our goal is to increase awareness of the educational rights of girl children in order to bring equality to all children.

 


  TLC will take action to support girl children achieve gender equality.

   G.I.R.L. will support schools as well as community groups to create sustainable educational development for girl children, child rights education, community education curriculum programs that builds functional literacy for adults, supports gender awareness, supports women and girls for local needs, provide and educate for community health and nutrition issues including HIV/AIDS and childhood immunization availability,  center for vocational workshops in skills in agriculture, micro business, environments awareness classes to bridge the digital divide, but also to provide the critical thinking tools necessary in order to understand the complexity of tolerance of others through culturally sensitive educational training.

  G.I.R.L. will freely share with other NGO’s resources, information, expertise and experience on all issues relating to girl education including the issues of gender awareness, vocational, health, micro business, art and music education and the security of the girl child. During 2011 we will reach over 500 girls through our Healthy and Smart HIV/AIDS prevention curriculum.

 G.I.R.L will be supported by local children all over the world that will enable children and educators to start a grassroots campaign by teaching children how to help support practical solutions to the real world of the girl child in the global south.
