YOUR EXPECTATIONS AND OURS: A GOOD WORKING RELATIONSHIP
We believe that a good working relationship is necessary to strengthen and promote the interests of both TLC and the individual volunteer. A good working relationship consists of direct and open communication, mutually understood goals and respect for each other.
A volunteer contributes to the success of the organization by meeting and exceeding the performance requirements of their position, exhibiting teamwork and being a role model for those that we are working to assist. Satisfying these standards is one key to an volunteer’s success at TLC.
Accomplishing assignments also allows opportunity for personal growth and development. The organization strives to provide the best possible training, facilities, support and direction.
TLC provides volunteers the opportunity to work in a diverse and global environment. Because of this volunteers may encounter individuals with values and backgrounds different from their own.
It is TLC’s philosophy that all individuals be treated in a respectful and professional manner.
