  1. Determine your Topic

  2. Sub-Topic and Working Title helps define your focus

  3. Objectives of the Project- How will you use this information?

  4. Determine presentation style-written—paper or poster, visual or verbal

  5. Write your Essential Question—Use Critical Thinking ToolKit

  6. Check Project Plan with Teacher

  7. Research—Internet, Books, Journals, (Primary Sources) Determine if source is credible.

  8. Build a bibliography

  9. Building the Paper—from notes to create the voice of the author.

    • use graphics, audio & visuals.

  10. Paper edited, and rewritten if necessary

    • Assessment from peers, librarian, and teacher—ongoing

  11. Paper submitted to Teacher or Reader.

  12. Determine action to take from research.
